After you've decided on a plan of action for the academic side of college, your thoughts generally turn to creature comforts. Friends, food, and fun!  No matter what hall you'll live in, you find the MSU experience one you won't forget. These are the best times of your life, so relax a bit and enjoy!

We've got a lot of great new dining services changes in the works. Check here to see how we're redesigning dining!

Advancing Knowledge. Transforming Lives.  MSU takes it pretty seriously.  You'll spend more time outside the classroom than in and more than 80% of your "free time" will be spent in your hall. You will change. No matter what hall you live in. So rest easy, wherever you wind up, you're in good hands.

The chart below can help you narrow down your choices in halls. Oh, and yes, here is the official disclaimer:

"We will promise to do our very best to get you into one of your hall selections. We do regret, however, that not all choices can be satisfied." Returning students have priority for housing locations, so assignments are based on availability.

So what does that mean to you?

•Are you interested or already admitted to an academic Living-Learning option? That is our first criteria for hall selection.

•Is your roommate in an academic option? Did you request each other?

•Do you have any environmental choices (alcohol-free, smoke-free, quiet)?

All these things influence your hall assignment.  Give it a try, we pretty much guarantee you can move to any on-campus location you want, space permitting, after the first two weeks of the semester.

Don't let our size fool you-each area of the campus is organized into zones (as in comfort zone). East, South, Red Cedar, Brody, West Circle-regardless of where you live, you'll find a home and people that care about you, great food and ample employment opportunities.

To see Living-Learning Options based on Hall Preferences click on the zones below.

East Zone (Akers, Holmes, Hubbard, McDonel, Owen and Van Hoosen Halls)
South Zone (Case, Holden, Wilson & Wonders Halls)
Red Cedar Zone (Abbot, Mason, Phillips, Shaw and Snyder Halls)
West Circle Zone (Campbell, Gilchrist, Landon, Mayo, Williams & Yakeley Halls)
Brody Zone (Armstrong, Bailey, Bryan, Butterfield, Emmons & Rather Halls)
