Congratulations on your achievement of progressing on to a Graduate and/or Professional program.  Whether or not this is your first advanced degree, you’ll find MSU provides an unparalleled peer community.  University Housing caters to the needs of graduate and professional students by providing affordable services and a variety of housing options to suit your special needs.

Owen Graduate Center is located near the Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine, across the street from the Eli Broad College of Business and the MSU College of Law, and is just north of the Vet Med complex. 

The Owen staff is attuned to the needs of the graduate and professional student and boasts 24-hour reception service, a la carte food service and ample quiet study areas.  The Residence Life staff provides a good sounding board and Council of Graduate Students (COGS ) gives graduate students a voice in providing input to the hall government.

Housekeeping service is provided weekly if desired, at no extra cost.  The hall is open year round with food service provided all but between winter and spring semesters.  It’s not your average hall; so don’t worry about the undergrads getting in your way.  Just worry about your research and let us take care of the rest.

University Apartments (UA) provides affordable living in an apartment village setting.  Convenient transportation makes getting around campus one of the last things you’ll have to worry about.  Three villages on the western side of the campus provide easy access to major highways and grocery stores.  Meal plans and discount meal tickets can be purchased if the last thing you want to worry about is packing your lunch. 

International Graduate Students will find Owen and UA convenient and a friendly way to get acclimated to the American culture.
