The Brody Zone Floor
Plan Brody Complex is nestled beside the Red Cedar River and the Red Cedar golf course, with direct access to Michigan Avenue and Harrison Avenue. A village of six residence halls surrounding a beautiful park-like setting with sand volleyball, basketball and plenty of space to enjoy the scenery. Brody Hall is home to Sparty’s Retail Store, RHA movie office, MSU Community Police office, a fitness center, dining services including a Totally Takeout Express, ATM, as well as the manager's and housing offices. Brody also has a computer lab for both PC and MAC, classrooms and an auditorium. Brody is served by two CATA bus stops. While Brody Complex is large, housing 2500 residents, each hall houses only about 400 male and female students, making it easy to meet new friends and find study buddies. An exciting major renovation of Brody Hall is currently in design, including a new restaurant concept based on the sucess of The Gallery at Snyder/Phillips Hall. Additional hall features include:
Specific hall features: Armstrong Hall The female fourth floor is a quiet floor. Bailey Hall The hall houses the Residential Option for Science and Engineering Students (ROSES), a selective program providing a strong sense of community and academic support for freshmen with majors in the Colleges of Agriculture & Natural Resources, Engineering and Natural Science. The male and female fourth floors are quiet floors. Bryan Hall The hall houses an Honors College floor. The Honors College Living/Learning experience offers a diverse and lively community for talented students with shared academic and professional goals. The entire hall is a designated quiet hall. Butterfield Hall All rooms have window air-conditioners. Emmons Hall Emmons Hall is equipped with a 24-hour-a-day living area card-swipe security system. Rather Hall The hall is designated alcohol-free
for residents and guests. |
