Q.  How do I change my meal plan?

A.  All you need to do is contact your Hall Manager’s office, and they can take care of it for you. Changes take effect the following Sunday.

Q.  What is Spartan Cash?

A. Spartan Cash is a debit card program.  The Platinum Plan includes $300 in Spartan Cash and the Gold Meal Plan includes $150 in Spartan Cash. All other plans may add this popular option at any time through one of our Manager’s offices or online.  This pre-paid account may be used in all Sparty’s C-Stores, Sparty’s Cafes, Food Courts, Owen Café, Cyber Café and even Laundry machines!  You’ll have access to over 90 different vendors, both on and off campus. And you won’t need to carry cash for that late night snack or other needed items.

Q.  If I have a class and can’t make it for lunch, do I have any options?

A.  Absolutely!  There are Grab & Go! options available once per day in Totally Takeout Express or Totally Takeout.

Q.  Can I take food from the dining room back to my room?

A.  No. Pricing for meals is based on what you consume while in the cafeteria.  If we opened it up to unlimited carryout, the cost would be substantially higher. 

Q.  If I live off campus, can I eat in the Residence Halls?

A.  You betcha!  We now sell many meal plans and meal tickets each year to off-campus students because of our convenience, variety and quality.  We have individual meal tickets, bundles of 10 accesses, as well as our very popular 70 meals per semester plan.  These are available in any residence Hall Manager’s office. Q.  How do I know what the cafeterias are serving on a given day?

A.  This website will tell you!  Navigate your way to the menu section, and it will show the base menu for each hall.   

Q.  What do I do if I have a concern or issue with dining services?

A.  Each location has a Dining Services Management Team that is there to serve you. Not only can we assist with special dietary restrictions, we have to admit that some of our best ideas and improvements come from your input.  Do not hesitate to contact any one of our Dining Managers or Supervisors.
