We welcome your comments. Please contact us if you have questions. Parking Regulations (Vehicles and Bicycles) To allow parking at your residence and on campus, vehicles (including motorcycles and mopeds) and bicycles must be registered with the MSU Parking Office and properly display valid MSU parking permits. The cost of these registration permits is not included in the monthly apartment rental rate. Upon check-in at the University Apartments Office, new residents will be issued temporary parking permits for their vehicles, which expire after three weeks. Each resident is responsible for purchasing the required parking permit from the Parking office before a temporary or previously issued permit expires; otherwise, parking tickets will be incurred and fines due. Those residents who have bicycles must register them immediately on-line, as temporary bike permits are not available. In addition to general information, bicycle make, color and serial number are required to register a bike and vehicle plate, make, color and style are required to register a vehicle. To register and obtain permits, go to www.dpps.msu.edu/. If online registration is not available, you may obtain permits at the Parking Office (present MSU ID, lease agreement and vehicle registration-if applicable). There is a fee for the parking permit; however, bicycle permits are issued at no charge to you. Visitors to your residence must display a valid visitor permit. A complimentary visitor permit (one per apartment) may be issued to residents of University Apartments by the Parking Office. This permit is for visitor use only and may not be used on any vehicle owned, in the possession or care of a University Apartment resident (additional restrictions apply). Residents may purchase additional visitor passes for their guests at the University Apartments Office or at the Parking Office (MSU ID and lease agreement required) during normal business hours. These passes allow a visitor to park near the host's residence. For additional and detailed information regarding parking, go to the parking regulations (student or faculty/staff, whichever applies) at www.dpps.msu.edu/mgtserve/permits.asp Phone Service Your phone service includes Voice Mail, Caller ID and local phone service.
