Chef Clyne received his Culinary Arts Degree from City & Guilds of London and has held positions in upscale hotels and resorts in London, Saudi Arabia, Bermuda and Jamaica. In 1991, he joined the staff of The Marque Hotel in Winston-Salem, NC as executive chef, a position he has also held at hotels in the prestigious Wyndham, Hilton and Westin corporations.
Since joining the staff of the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, Chef Clyne has elevated the hotel’s dining services to new levels, both day-to-day and for special events such as the Visiting Chef Series and The State Room wine dinners. Under his direction, The State Room Restaurant has also been the recipient of the Wine Spectator Award every year since 2003.
In celebration of the holiday season, Clyne will present his 7th Annual “Dickens’ Christmas,” tantalizing guests with the best flavors of the season.
